Merry Christmas Everyone!

WOW-WEE!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I hope everyone had a good Christmas. We had a GREAT day here at my house! After all this talk about Christmas and Santa Claus, I finally got to see what all this fuss has been about. Santa Claus came to our house, just like Dad Dad said he would. When I came downstairs this morning, Mom & Dad kept saying "Who was here?", so of course, my first guess was our most regular visitor, Grammy. But then I saw a bunch of presents under the tree and remembered that Santa Claus had come! The first thing I saw was the new train set he left that was all set up for me! I ran right to it and started to play!

Mom and Dad wanted to open some other gifts, but I just wanted to play with my train. I did eventually decide to open some other gifts and I got a "Gordon" and "Percy" trains for my Thomas railway, and a Rocket ship from Little Einstein. It was then that I got this concept that if I open the gifts, I get new, cool things!! From then on, Mom and Dad didn't have any trouble getting me to open the rest of my gifts.

Teddy enjoyed his presents too! Some of his boxes were as big as him. He got some fun toys, but he really enjoyed the wrapping paper. Of course, he tried to eat it (like he does everything). Teddy got a Santa hat from Aunt Shel Shel that he wore almost all day. He looked super cute in it!

Later that morning, Papa and Gram Gram Peters came over to our house. Great-Grandpa and Grandma Young also came over! We had a nice brunch together.

I really had fun during brunch playing "peek-a-boo" with Papa. He sat on the other side of Gram and I would peek around her to say "Hi Papa!" over and over again!

After brunch, we enjoyed each other's company and opened some more gifts. We played with our new toys and looked at old photos from Great-Grandpa & Grandma Young's slides. There was lots of cute pictures of Daddy as a little boy!

Teddy and I were exhausted from all the excitement, so we took some long (and much needed) naps. When we woke up, everyone had gone, but the new toys were still here!! Daddy had made a yummy Turkey dinner for us, and before long, Grammy Peterson and Great Aunt Jean stopped by. They had just returned from Rochester where they spent Christmas at my Uncle George & Aunt Lou Lou's house. I showed them all my new toys and they even helped us open a few more that we hadn't gotten to yet.

This is our new wagon that Santa brought us! I can't wait until warmer weather when I can hitch it up to my John Deere wagon and tote around the yard!

Mom Mom said that one of the most important parts of Christmas is being together as family, and we saw a lot of family over the last few days. On Christmas Eve, we went to Canisteo and saw a lot of Dad's family and yesterday, we had a big gathering at Grammy's house with all of Mom's family. I will post some photos from those fun days this weekend for you all to see, and maybe some new video too! Right now, I need to get back to my toys! Until then, love and best wishes to everyone! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Christmas Preparations

The last couple of weeks have been really busy at my house. We are preparing for Christmas! Mom Mom says it a very important holiday because we celebrate Jesus' birthday. I am learning all about Christmas and its traditions this year. So far, I have liked everything about Christmas, especially the cookies, the songs, seeing friends and family...and apparently the best is yet to come!

Getting ready for a celebration this big takes lots of preparation. First off, it snows a lot this time of year. I had to help Daddy clear off all the snow from our driveway last Friday...and today we got tons more. Daddy says it can sometimes be one of those never-ending jobs.

Then, last weekend I got to see Karlie, Jenna and Aunt Amanda, who all came down to Grammy's house to bake Christmas cookies. I didn't help bake them, I just helped to eat them!

Karlie played with me and all my trucks at Grammy's house. Grammy and Jenna were a good baking team!!

This week, our friends Brooke, Angelo and their daughter Ava stopped through as they were traveling through our neighborhood to visit friends. We got to spend some time with them and see how much Ava has grown. She is 10 days younger than Teddy and doing a lot of the same things he is. Teddy and Ava seemed to enjoy playing together.

Next week we have all sorts of fun days planned to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. I'll be sure to take lots of photos so you can see them! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

Just Sit and Say Cheese

Mom and Dad were trying to get a nice photo of Teddy and I together for our Christmas cards this year. It was quite a tasks as you can imagine. Just so you can really appreciate it, here are some outtakes. We didn't even use any photos from this session, nor the next one that ended quickly when Teddy took a nose-dive on the floor. It was the third and final session that got us the winner. You'll have to wait for your Christmas card to see!!

Turkey Day Finale

Our week-long Thankgiving celebration came to an end this week with two big finale events. Saturday was a fun, family-filled day in Canisteo. We saw a whole pile of Daddy's extended family when everyone gathered at Great-Grandpa and Grandma Young's house. Grandpa and Grandma Young had all of their children, some of their grandchildren, and even some of their great-grandchildren (like me!) filling their house to the brim. It was lots of fun to see everyone, especially since we haven't seen them since this summer. Everyone was surprised at how big Teddy is getting. He is at that age where he is changing everyday. Me...well, I look about the same, but I have about 10-20 new words I learn everyday!!

Here is Teddy is Uncle Billy's (Dad's cousin) ball cap. Boy, Uncle Billy has a big head!

Gram Gram gave Cooper and me rides on Great-Grandma's walker seat...

Our final day of the week was a day at home on Sunday. Mom Mom got really sick on Saturday, so she was under-the-weather all day. Grammy Peterson made us dinner and came over to spend some time with us.

Mom loves taking close-up photos of Teddy to show off those blue eyes!

I helped Daddy put one of my toys back together that I broke. I put the screws into the holes and even gave the screwdriver a turn or two.

Giddy-up Horsey!!

I hope everyone else had a super fun, family-filled Thankgiving celebration too!!

Happy Turkey Day Weekend

Thanksgiving in our house has been a full week celebration! We started it off last Sunday when we had a Thanksgiving dinner at Gram Gram Peters' house with Papa, Aunt Michelle, Uncle Joe, Cohen and Cooper. The day was also to celebrate Cooper's 1st birthday! He is walking now and I think it is pretty cool that for the next few months, we will be both be 1 years old!

Here are some cute photos from our day together...

Aunt Shel and Cooper opening gifts

Theodore trying a UFC takedown move on Daddy

Aunt Shel and me playing the cymbals

A perfectly caught moment...my cousin Cohen doesn't always like me, like when I play with his toys or yell really loud, but in the moments when he thinks no one may see, he shows me acts of pure kindness....like sharing his fudge pop with me! (And if you are wondering about the phone cord wrapped around me...talk to my Daddy!)

Gram Gram and Teddy getting some cuddles

Our celebration continued because we had a lot of Daddy-time this week since Daddy had the week off from work. He watched Teddy and me a few times this week while Mom got out to get some things done. He took me for walks with him and the doggies, and on Wednesday, we all went on a walk as a family! We got all bundled up, made a few stops along the way to see friends, and topped it off with a nice lunch at Wegmans!
Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving and we celebrated the day with a fabulous feast at Grandma Peterson's house. My Uncle Gary, Aunt Jane and cousin Amy were there. So was my Gram Gram and Papa Peters! It was fun to show off all my trucks at Grammy's house and to spend time with people I love. I am thankful for all my family who loves me!
Teddy had everyone laughing yesterday when he got laughing over a silly piece of paper being waved in front of his face. How silly!! Funny how a baby's laugh can keep a whole room of adults laughing!!

Teddy Baseball

Teddy Baseball is a nickname that Daddy calls Theodore sometimes, and this blog seems to be all about Teddy since Mom has been taking lots of pictures of him recently. That alright...she already has like 3000 or so of me.

We had a fun weekend with some fun visitors. Jenna was in town again with Grandma Peterson. Aunt Amanda came on Saturday to see us and just hang out. She was surprised how big Teddy and I have gotten since she saw us back in August. Teddy sure is growing. I can't believe the stuff he is doing these days. He sits up by himself, and makes all sorts of sounds and noises. He is definitely starting to show his personality. I like to make him laugh, like today when I was tossing the ball around the livingroom. I am not sure who was laughing more, him or me. Daddy thinks he looks like Mommy, and he sure does seem to smile a lot like she does.

Just so you get a full appreciation for all his new action, here is a little video clip...

Family Time

Hello everyone!! How's it going? Things here are good! Last week was amazingly warm for November and we made sure to enjoy the warmer weather while it lasted. We spent a couple of days last week over at Grammy's house. On Thursday, we were able to eat lunch outside because it was so nice out. Here is Grammy feeding Teddy lunch out on her back patio. He really likes to get into his food these days.

This weekend was all about some family time. Daddy has been working long weeks, so the weekends are extra special because I get extra time with him. On Saturday, Daddy and I took the puppies out for walk. Mommy thought we looked so cute just getting ready for a walk that she had to take a photo of us. She is a little crazy with the camera somtimes.

Teddy is getting really big these days. It seems he is even quickly stretching out all his clothes. Check out his little toe peeking out of his pajamas.

I got to see Jenna this weekend, along with Uncle George. Jenna came down to stay with Grandma, so we were able to have dinner all together on Friday night and Teddy and I went to Grammy's on Saturday night while Mom and Dad went out to movie. I have lots of fun with Jenna! My favorite thing to do is to tease her by trying to knock over her blocks. The more she tries to keep me away, the more fun it is to try and knock them over...and it is super fun to watch Grammy laugh and laugh at our little battles.

On Sunday, Mom, Teddy and I went to visit our friends Sarah and Tully after church. I had so much fun seeing Tully and playing with his toys. We shared lots of laughs as we chased each other all around their house. It left me pretty tired out, but I couldn't seem to fall asleep for my usual nap when we got home. So, Daddy, Teddy and I shared a little down time in Mom & Dad's bed watching some "Boz the Bear" movies, my favorite! As usual, Mom couldn't pass up the chance to snatch a couple of photos of her boys.

Gone Fishin' for Some Halloween Treats

The Fisherman and the One Who Got Away

Yesterday was Halloween and we went to Canisteo to do some trick-or-treating. Mom Mom worked on costumes for us this week. I was a fisherman and Teddy was a fish. Pretty cute, huh?!! Grandma Peterson came with us to join in the fun.

First, we went to Papa Peters' house to get ready. I got right into my costume and was ready to go. Teddy wasn't so interested in wearing his fish head hat, because he has an ear infection. Mom had to take him to the doctor's in the afternoon which gave us a late start to our Halloween visits. Even though he didn't wear it for long, Mom was able to snap a few pictures of him.

We spent a little bit of time playing at Papa's house and even got a few Trick-or-Treaters, so I helped Dad pass out some candy.

Next, we headed over to Great-Grandpa and Grandma Young's house. My Gram Gram Peters was there along with Uncle Brett. Great-Grandpa really loved our costumes because he loves to fish! There were kids all over their street in costumes, so Mom and Dad took me down to a few house to say "Trick or Treat" and get some candy!

We made another stop at Aunt Sue & Uncle Dan's house where I saw my cousin, Peyton. She was dressed up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. It was getting late so we headed back to Papa's to get in pajamas and start to whined down the night. It was a really late night (we didn't leave Papa until 10 PM), but a really fun one!

Turkey Day Preview

Yesterday, we had a little Turkey Day Preview here at our house. Uncle George, Aunt Lou Lou, Sarah, Karlie and Jenna came down to visit and enjoy a big Sunday dinner with us. We had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner since it is one of Daddy's favorite meal and we were kind of celebrating his birthday, along with Mommy's, Aunt Lou Lou's and Karlie's, which were also this month. It was great to spend the day together!

Happy Birthday to Mommy and Daddy!

Karlie, Aunt Lou Lou, Jenna and me in the school bus!

Nothing better than piling up in a comfy chair after a big meal to watch some football and cuddle with Theodore.

Mommy, Theodore and I are all fighting colds, so we decided to take the day to stay home today and rest up. Mom said we need to buy stock in Kleenex with all the nose-wiping going on around here. Hopefully we will all be healthy soon!
