Hangin' with the Animals

Hello my family and friends!! How is everyone doing? I am doing great!! This last week has been full of fun. For instance, one night last week, Mommy, Daddy, Theodore and I took the "puppas" for a walk. We took the path from Painted Post down into Riverside where there is a really great playground. I love the playground. I have a whole routine there....

First, I climb up...

Then I spin the wheel...
Then I slide down, backwards of course!
Teddy likes the playground too! He hangs out in the stroller, watching me run around and sucks his thumb.
Sometimes he gets in the action too, like when he goes down the slide with Mom Mom.
We spent the weekend at Aunt Jane & Uncle Gary's camp up near Harrisville, NY. My Uncle George and Aunt Lou Lou were there with Sarah, Karlie and Jenna. They brought along their cousins Daniel and Nicholas. My Mom's cousin Tracy was there with her family too. There was her husband Steve, her daughter Rachael with her friend Olivia, and her son Nicholas with his friend Will. I love watching all the kids play and swim. There was lots of fun things to do, so I tired myself right out and had to take two naps just to make it through the day. Here are some fun photos of camp...
In my camp gear...flannel shirt and new shoes!

Camo Man, as Uncle Gary would say "Now that's what I'm talkin' about!"

Theodore with Olivia...she loved playing with him!

Today, we took a trip to Farmland Animal Park. Mom, Grandma, Theodore and I met up with Sarah and Tully and some of the moms from Mom's MOPS group. We got to see all sort of animals!! There was a mile of walkway around all the place and I ran around the whole thing!

Here I am checking out the chickens, turkeys and goats with Mom.

Even Theodore like the animals!

I got to feed the goats...
and Tully fed the horse!
This little goat was eager for us to fed him! He even tried to eat Tully's shirt!

Theodore is a Big Boy!

Well, just as we suspected...Theodore is a big boy!! He went to the doctor's on Monday and we got his new stats. Theodore weighs 16 lbs. 4 oz. (80 percentile) and is 16.25 inches long (90th percentile). He is a good pound heavier than I was at 4 months old. He is also about 3/4 of an inch longer. Here is is with Daddy at the doctor's. We call him our "Chunky Monkey"!
On Monday night we had a BBQ at our house with some of Mom's MOPS friends. They all came by for some food and playtime. It was lots of fun for me since they all have kids that are my age. I was really good about letting everyone play with my toys. My tractor was a favorite toy for everyone to play with. Here I am playing with my friend Owen. He just turned a year old last month.
Over the weekend, I did lots of fun things! Daddy was gone from Friday to Saturday night on a deep sea fishing trip with some buddies, so I hung out with Grandma Peterson and Mommy. We went into Hammondsport to the craft fair in the morning, and in the afternoon, Sarah and my friend Tully came over for dinner. On Sunday, Daddy was home and we headed over to the lake early so we could see the Zielinski's (Daddy's cousins from Scranton, PA). Everyone was excited to see how much Theodore and I had grown. Theodore got lots of cuddles since he is the baby now. I am too busy these days for much cuddling.

Lea and Maria had caught a fish and put it in a bucket. I get to see and touch the fishy when I go fishing with Daddy. I kept pointing to the fishy in the bucket to show Mommy the "fissshhy".

Just Like Daddy's

Hey, check out my new tractor! It is a John Deere just like my Daddy's! Thanks to my Uncle Gary and Aunt Jane, I now have a tractor of my very own! I first got to see it up in the Adirondacks and when I first spotted it, I said "WOW" and had to go check it out. I am a little small for the pedals just yet, but I love to "work" on it. I especially like to check the hitch to make sure it is working properly. I am sure it won't be long and I will be cruising all over the yard with it.

Theodore is really coming to life these days. He is starting to get loud like me. He makes all sorts of noises! He's not to lively in this photo, but he's cute!

Vacation in the Adirondacks

I'm back and just like I promised, I have lots of photos to share. So many in fact, that I decided to make a slideshow of all my favorites to share with you.

Our vacation was set at Holiday Shores in Eagle Bay, NY which is just north of Old Forge, NY on Fourth Lake. We rented a small cottage with Grandma Peterson that was right next door to a much larger house that my Uncle George & Aunt Lou Lou rented along with Aunt Kathy and Uncle Roger (or as I like to call him "Goger"), Pam & Jeff along with all their kids. The kids included my cousins, Sarah, Karlie and Jenna, Kaitlyn and Kristen (Kath & Roger's girls), and Emilee and Andrew (Pam & Jeff's daughter and son). This meant that there were lots of people to entertain me and play with me!! Andrew is super cool and has lots of toys that I loved, like cars and trucks. He was even nice enough to give me a few. My favorite by far was a yellow bus he gave me. I think I must have gone up to just about everyone to show them my "busssss".

My Aunt Shel, Uncle Joe and cousins, Cohen and Cooper joined us for a few days early in the week. We did things lots of fun things like playing in the sand, feeding the ducks, and taking a walk into Eagle Bay for ice cream. I loved the beach and spent a lot of time there during the week. There were all sorts of toys that other kids from the other camps at Holiday Shores brought down to share. My favorite things were the dump trucks that I could fill with sand or send racing down the ramp. I also like to throw the sand into the water and watch it splash. One thing I didn't like was sand in my mouth! Yucky! I wasn't much for the water, but neither was my dad. It was pretty cool. By the end of the week, I got a little more adventuresome and waded out until the water was up to my knees.

Mom and Dad think that Theodore and I grew up a ton over the week while we hung out with all our older cousins. I learned how to feed myself with a fork. I learned how to say my name along with the names of everyone else we saw on vacation. I learned a ton of new words! Theodore is smiling, laughing, and cooing a lot more. He even has learned how to reach out and grab for things (i.e. toys, blankets, noses).

Saturday was our last day and we were packed up to leave the camp just after 11, but instead of heading right home, Mom, Dad, Thedore and I headed further north up to Blue Mountain Lake where the Adirondack Museum is. They were having a special event called "Dog Days of Summer" and dogs were allowed in the museum. They had all sorts of demonstrations and events for dogs. Delia and Blossom turned out to be an exhibit themselves as tons of people stopped us and asked to pet them. They were very good puppies the whole day! Daddy took them in the pooch parade and they got to walk around with all the other dogs that were there. It was a great way to end a great week!
