Merry Christmas Everyone!

What a special way to celebrate Jesus's birthday! Christmas is such a fun time with loved one, giving gifts to show love, helping others who are in need and remembering the ultimate gift that God sent us in Jesus. We've had a great Christmas so far and wanted to share a few of our newly-made memories.

Heading to church on Wednesday night - to dashing young boys!

Christmas Eve at Papa's House with cousins, Cohen & Cooper and yummy popsicles!

Working backward through our Christmas morning...snacks before naptime!

I've got all the trucks from the Cars movie...Chick's truck came from Santa! They have to be lined up perfectly or I got a little bonkers!

Gram Gram and Papa Peters came over this morning. I made them laugh when I opened my gift, I said all excitedly "It's a BOX!!"

Teddy was tired out from all the excitement and had to put his feet up for a while.

Teddy's favorite gift was a music box with a little train that went around.

We got all sorts of new trains to add to our Thomas the Train collection.

Here is me with my new train, Murdoch.

Teddy got a train car with a shark inside!! He was pretty excited!

Last but not least, a little video of our Christmas morning!

Fun in the Fall

There are lots of fun things to do in the Fall. This week, we got a taste of lots of them. Here is a quick run down...

First there was meeting our Grammie Peterson and Gram Gram Peters out for pizza. Teddy and I were being goofy brothers. Nothing like giving your little brother a kiss. Mom and Dad says God wants me to love my brother (as opposed to hitting him, pushing him, taking his toy away, etc.).

Here we are with our Grandmas!

Who knew pizza could be such fun!

Then there is jumping in the leaves! Daddy took us outside the other day and raked up a big pile for us to jump in. He actually jumped in it more than we did. Delia and Blossom jumped right on top of him.

Teddy jumped in with Daddy and they tried to bury themselves in leaves!

Then there is carving pumpkins! Grammie came over and we carved up a couple of the pumpkins from our garden this summer. I particularly liked fitting the top back on.

Teddy liked to scoop out all the insides.

The next super fun thing is Halloween! We went to Canisteo again this year and spent some time at Papa's house and at Great-Grandpa & Grandma Young. My Gram Gram Peters came to see us in our costumes. This year we were little Army Recruits...ready to report to boot camp!

October Celebrations

October sure is a fun month in our family. We have lots of birthdays to celebrate. This year, Mom Mom turned 30 and later this week, Daddy will be turning 40. Aunt Lou Lou and Karlie also celebrate their birthdays this month....and with birthdays come celebrations!

Last weekend, we celebrated with a fun family dinner at Uncle George and Aunt Lou Lou's house. Even Grandpa Peterson and Aunt Jean traveled from Albany to celebrate with us. Here is a photo of all of our beloved birthday-ers!

I particularly like birthday celebrations because it involved blowing our candles on a cake....something that I love to do, even when it is not my birthday!

This weekend, we had another celebration at Gram Gram Peters' house. Papa Papa, Aunt Shel Shel, Uncle Joe, Cohen and Cooper were all there. This picture isn't actually from this weekend, but is when Gram Gram came over to our house a couple of weeks ago and we took the opportunity to snuggle with her for a while.

Another thing that happens in October is lots of yardwork! Teddy has been trying to help Daddy keep up with some of it.

Perfect September Weekend

This past weekend was the perfect September weekend! Lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures, plus lots of fun activities with family and friends!

On Friday, we went to Canisteo to Great-Grandpa & Grandma Young's house to celebrate Grandpa's 87th birthday. Gram Gram Peters, Aunt Shel Shel, Cohen and Cooper were there too, along with my Grammie Peterson, who shares the same birthday as Grandpa (only the day, not the year!). We had a fun evening and Grandpa & Grandma sure enjoy watching us boys play around in their house. Here we are on the top of the staircase....

Here is Teddy with Grandpa. Teddy likes to perch on Grandpa's lap and watch all that is going on around him.

All of us great-grandsons helped Grandpa blow out the candles on his birthday cake after we sang "Happy Birthday" to him!

Mom made a pretty fun cake for Grandpa to celebrate the fantastic fisherman that he is!

On Saturday, we took part in a charity walk called Ryan's Road for CCA. Ryan is a friend of mine and he was born with some difference in his face and hands. His parents organize this walk to give to the Children's Craniofacial Association that supports and connects families who are dealing with these types of medical issues. This was our second year participating and it was a beautiful day to spend outside!
There were lots of baseball diamonds at the park so Daddy showed me how to run the bases! I really like to run!

Here is Teddy and I doing our walking!

I hope that you got to enjoy the beautiful weekend just like we did! Until next time...

Happy Birthday Grammie and Great-Grandpa Young!

Today is our Grammie Peterson's birthday. That makes it a really special day because she is a really special grandma. We love going over to Grammie's house like we did yesterday where she takes us to the playground, let's us watch the Disney channel and has a big tub of animal crackers always waiting in her pantry. So, with lots of love, we say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAMMIE!!

It is also our Great-Grandpa Young's 87th birthday today! We love going to see Grandpa Young, especially when we can visit at the lake and eat his yummy ribs! Love you Grandpa!

Our Labor Day Weekend

We did some fun things over Labor Day weekend that I wanted to share with you...

On Friday night, Mom, Dad, Teddy and I went to the Festival of Balloons in Dansville, NY. It was a beautiful evening to watch all the hot air balloons lift off and float south. We watched the balloons and had yummy, greasy fair food for dinner. I was finally big enough to try out the inflatable jumping ride!!

On Monday, we decided to go on another little adventure. We took Daddy to one of our favorite places, the Farmland Animal Park. Mom, Teddy and I had been there before, but this was Daddy's first time. We took him all around and showed him all the different animals. I showed him how I like to play in the big sandbox, and Teddy did his best cowboy impression on the rocking horse. It was a fun morning to share as a family!

The Month of August

I guess I have to just write about the whole month of August since it has quickly passed by with no blog postings. I can't even remember all the things I did this month. Good thing I have some photos to remind me!

Once we got back from our trip to the Adirondacks, we scheduled a big celebration dinner at Papa Peters house. Papa's birthday passed while we were gone, but we didn't want that to keep us from celebrating with him. My Uncle Joe, Aunt Shel, cousins Cohen and Cooper and Gram Gram Peters were all there. The best parts were playing in Papa's yard with my cousins and eating ice cream cake!

We've been enjoying our new playground. Our favorite thing to do is swing. I can use the big boy swing now and I love it! I always want an "underdog" or to "go higher"! Daddy can push us and swing with us at the same time!
There were a few really hot days this month. To escape the heat, we would go up to "the lake", my Great-Grandpa and Grandma Young's cottage on Demons Pond. I love it there. I particularly like to wade around in the water and throw big rocks, watch them splash and then try to find them again. This was a favorite rock of mine. It is a square and therefore easy to find on the bottom.

We always have good food at the lake too. Great-Grandpa Young makes the best sweet corn because he cooks it for just the right amount of time. The kernels just burst in your mouth! Teddy was loving his piece of corn!!

Around mid-month, we took a trip up to Aunt Jane & Uncle Gary's camp. It was a weekend of fun with Grammie Peterson there, and Uncle George, Aunt Lou Lou and the girls. Even their cousins Daniel and Nicholas were there. Mom and Dad took me and Teddy for a little boat ride around the pond, and Uncle Gary put up the same ol' swingset that Mom, Aunt Amy and Aunt Amanda all played on when they were little. They love when we come up to their camp and do everything to make it a safe and fun place for us to stay!

I went swimming with Daddy in the pond. I'm still not so sure about water when I can't put my feet down, but Daddy made it better.

The town was having their Community Days and Mom, Dad, Grammie, me and Teddy all went to catch the parade. There were fire trucks and old cars, and some of the float threw candy!

We spent one Saturday this month in the Syracuse area. First we went to the Summerville Farm to celebrate Mr. & Mrs. Summerville's 50th wedding anniversary. I've been wanting to go to the farm for so long! It was just as wonderful as I expected. I loved to see the baby calf and the big tractors. I even got to ride in one! After the farm, we went to a graduation party for Mom's cousin's twin daugters. We got to see lots of family that we don't see often enough. One of them was my Mom's Great Aunt Arlene. Aunt Arlene is really special because she is the last sister of 15 siblings of my Great-Grandma Gertie, my Mom's beloved grandmother.

Speaking of Great-Grandparents, I've got too of the best around! We had a fantastic Sunday dinner at the lake that weekend and stayed long enough to get our jammies on there. I cuddled with both Grandma and Grandpa Young. Teddy was as content as could be sitting on Grandpa's lap with his blankie and his thumb.

This last weekend of August was a "boy's weekend" here at our house. That is because Mom was gone off to see some friends for the weekend, and it was just Daddy, me and Teddy here to fend for ourselves. We had lots of fun doing "boy" things, but we were all glad to see Mom when she came home.
And that was our month in a nutshell....
