October Fun

October is here and fall is fully underway! We've had a month full of fun with Mom & Dad both celebrating birthdays and a trip to Syracuse. Here is an update on us...

Denton is growing fast! He is almost 6 months now and went to the doctor's last week due to a little cold where he weighed in at 18 lbs. 10 oz. He is jolly, smiles at just about everyone who pays him attention, plays wonderfully on his own reaching out and holding toys now. He is a really great baby and I just love him! I love to make him laugh and give him kisses on his head.

We had a garden again this year and got quite a few pumpkins. We helped Daddy harvest them and put them up along the house. It was lots of fun for us riding back and forth in the wagon while Daddy did all the work.

I had a special time last week when I went to my Gram Gram Peters house for an overnight all by myself. We did all sorts of fun things together. Teddy and Denton stayed home with Mom and Dad. Teddy got a chance to be the big brother in the bathtub!

We all took a trip to Syracuse last weekend to visit Aunt Jane & Uncle Gary. We loved staying over at their house and didn't want to leave! We had dinner at Uncle John & Aunt Christine's house and got to meet our new cousin-in-law, Nerissa (married to our cousin Derek) and their new daughter Brooklyn. She is super cute, but didn't really know what do to with me, especially when I growled at her.

Visiting my Mom's Great Aunt Arlene was a special part of our trip. She is 93-years old and still sharp as a tack. She likes the Yankees just like us and thinks we are quite a bunch!!

Oh, and my Grandpa Peters and Great Aunt Jean came for a visit too! See, we've been busy!!

Three busy boys! That is what we are!! Thanks for checking in with us! Come back next week for some Halloween photos!

Baby + Balloon = Big Laughs

I AM IRONMAN!

Last Sunday, Mom and Daddy took Teddy and I to the National Museum of Play to see our favorite superhero, IRONMAN!! Sarah and Jenna came along with us to see us in ACTION!

Teddy was super excited to meet Ironman! Once he saw him, he didn't want to leave his sight, even to stand in line to meet him in person. Mom and Daddy told him he had to smile if he wanted to meet Ironman. Here is his "I want to meet Ironman" smile! As you can see, both Teddy and I were decked out in our action hero t-shirts.

When it was our turn to meet Ironman, we were so excited! Teddy couldn't even believe it. He just stood there in awe, no matter how bad Mom and Dad tried to get his attention for a picture.

I showed Ironman my superhero moves!

It was a pretty special event for us to meet someone like Ironman. Just the museum is tons of fun, especially with Sarah and Karlie along. But this was a vist to top them ALL!

Denton's Dedication

Today, Denton was dedicated at our church. Some people may wonder what it means to be dedicated. It means that Mom & Dad are dedicating Denton life back to the Lord, showing that they know he is one of God's children merely entrusted to them for a short time, and showing their dedication as parents to raise him up to know God and the gift given through Jesus.

Grammie Peterson, Gram Gram Peters and Papa were all there to witness the dedication and celebrate with us afterwards. We all looked super spiffy in our matching shirts!

Up at Pinetree Hollow

This past weekend we took a trip up to Pinetree Hollow, my Uncle Gary & Aunt Jane's camp up in Harrisville, NY. We love to go up there and spend time with them. It is a boys heaven, with lots of fun things to do.

We got up in the morning and feed the fish breakfast. Aunt Jane likes to break up the pieces of bread, but I just threw the whole piece in. The fish still ate it just fine.

We also play on the swingset that is up there. We really like to swing high!!

This time we walked up to the river and got to walk across the rocks and throw stones and watch them splash!

Here is Uncle Gary with us on the walk to the river. We really love our Uncle Gary.

This was Denton's first visit to Pinetree Hollow. He really did enjoy it, even if it doesn't look like it in this photo. He even got to wear his new outfit from Aunt Jane & Uncle Gary...a camo Carhardt outfit...perfect for up to camp!

Denton Hits 3 Months!

Can you believe Denton has been with us for three months? Sometimes that feels like it can't be true, but then again, it kind of feels like he's been here forever. He is very much a part of our every day. Teddy and I like to kiss him, and hold him. Sometimes we like to growl or "rawr" at him to see if it scares him. Mainly, he just hangs out. He doesn't make much noise or fuss, and is even starting to smile and laugh a bit more, although he is often quite serious. Quiet and pensive, that is how I'd describe Denton.

In honor of my little brother being 1/4 of a year old, I'm doing a blog just about him!
Beach Baby!

He sucks his thumb...actually thumbS! He'll suck left or right, he doesn't care. Whatever makes it to his mouth.

Enjoying the shade with Papa

It is all about those cheeks!

Conversations with Grammie

Not sure quite why, but he looks exceptionally HUGE in this photo!

WHAT?

His favorite spot...in the traveling bassinet that goes wherever the action is.

Adirondacks 2010

You know that summer is fully underway (and half over) when we pack up and head to Eagle Bay for a week in the Adirondacks. This was our third year going up there with Grammie and staying next to the Peterson's (Uncle George & Aunt Lou Lou), along with the Sevilla's and Hyde's. It took me a while to get all these photos into a slideshow, but you've got to see the fun we had!! Enjoy! Sorry I can't write more, but I've got to get back to enjoying our summer. More pictures of what we are up to soon!

Make sure to close that annoying "Super Poke Friends" thing if it comes up so you can enjoy the comments on the photos. Just hit the "X" in the upper right corner.
