Albany Family Weekend

Mom, Dad and I traveled to Albany this past weekend to visit my Grandpa Peterson and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins that I hadn't met yet. We drove their on Saturday morning. Dad put in my big boy car seat that I got from Grandpa Peters, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Joe. It was cool because it sat up higher and I could see out the window better. The only bad part was that it doesn't recline as much as my other seat, so when I tried to take a nap, my head was falling all over the place. Mom and Dad felt bad, because it kept waking me up, so when we stopped for lunch, Dad ran into Wal-Mart and bought me a head cushion.
We got to Grandpa's around 3 o'clock. It wasn't long before we were back on the road again. This time we went to my Aunt Terry and Uncle George's house. Their house is the big gathering place when family comes into town. While there, I got to meet my Great-Aunt Jean, Great-Aunt Marge, and lots of cousins...Michael, Jennifer, Patrick, Peter. I was really tired during the whole visit since I didn't sleep well in the car, but I still had lots of smiles and talking for everyone. I wanted to make sure they fell in love with me like everyone else :-)!

We slept at Grandpa's house that night and hung out with him for some of the morning before heading home. It was another long day in the car. When we got home, my Grandma Peterson was here!! She had come to our house to doggie-sit while we were gone. It was so fun to see her! She just got back from a trip to Cape Cod and she had a few goodies waiting in my room for me...a stuffed lobster and some Halloween PJs. Thanks Grandma!!
